My work, as seen through a neurodiverse lens, is an honest expression of who I am. Easily overwhelmed by too much information, I create work that is pared down to its purest form.

Amanda Gentry (b.1973, Long Beach, California) is a Chicago-based sculptor artist. Her work is the result of dedication to form, material, and process, driven by a determination to reveal what is essential at the exclusion of the non-essential. She is a DCASE and IACA grant recipient whose work is in private collections and exhibited in galleries, academic institutions, and museums nationwide.
