I am an intuitive painter, discovering what direction I go as I start painting. I am exhilarated by the challenge of evoking curiosity, an emotion of calm or joy, in the viewer. Aside from the dimensions of the canvas, there are no limits.
Brigitte Wolf (b. Kronach, Germany) was born into a large German family, emigrated to London as a young woman, and later settled in the United States. Brigitte studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has been working as a studio artist for the past 15 years. Her works have begun to attract critical attention and can be found in galleries and collections both here and in Europe.
