In my artistic practice, I investigate the relationship between objects using silhouette, color, line, and surface through interlocking, paired, and interconnected structures. My slab-built ceramic constructions are diptychs, portraits, and landscapes that tell visual stories. Despite their reference to traditional vessels, I pursue these ceramic works as art without regard to function.
