Mary King (b.1942, Sturgis, Michigan) earned a BFA from University of Chicago and an MA from Western Michigan University. Her solo exhibitions include those at The Hyde Park Art Center, Epiphany Center for the Arts, and Woman Made Gallery in Chicago. Her work has been exhibited in four solo exhibitions at Denise Bibro Fine Arts in New York from which she received a favorable review from The New York Times. King currently lives and works in Kenwood in Chicago.
