There is story-telling in each movement of a mark, and as the moments pass the stories mingle. My compositions explore line design and balance, and the presentation of materials in a uniquely original and innovative style.
Tanya Calhoun (b.1970, Monroeville, Pennsylvania) is a Chicago-based contemporary artist. She is a BFA graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and has exhibited both nationally and internationally. Her studio is located at Subterra, a collection of artists and fabricators, in West Town, Chicago, Illinois.
